Good Girl by Aria AberMy rating: 2 of 5 stars
This was read from the perspective of someone in his 50s and a dad.
The writing was very good, impressive even. The story itself was real and raw. But most of it, was just sad to me. The constant drug use, risky, violent sex, abuse, and general life lethargy of these kids. We all had our wild moments, me included. But mine were interspersed in the middle of some sort of normality. Again, I'm just an old dad and it made me sad. I did like the promise that the ending contained, I wish there were more of it.
