Learning Python

Finally taking the leap

I work in cyber security and I'm finally biting the bullet and learning Python. I've started the free courses (MIT, Coursera et al) umpteen times and even finished a few but it never stuck. I'm a career IT pro coming from a SysAdmin/Networking background so I'm not a developer. I speak .bat and even Powershell but never mastered anything else. 

That ends this year.

I need to learn this to continue to develop my infosec skills and add value to my position here at the University. 

I have a relatively easy (I hope!) task to start with, I think that's the key... Have attainable goals.
