I saw this rated highly by a reader I follow here so I snagged a copy. I'll donate to my local library once my wife reads it.
I enjoyed the book, the "opting out" wasn't executed how I imagined it would be. Rather, it was done in place and more humorously. I could have done without the extensive Vivian storyline, especially the ending of that, which was rather unbelievable. Not in a wild way, as in eh..
I do think that this would be an excellent film adaptation.
Worth the read, not worth buying.
