It's Hard Out There

As someone who's a bit sensitive to the noise of the world, this is a tough time. I know I'm not alone, my closest friends feel the same. Close in noise, will my job be ok. Far out noise, will we survive? The far out noise is a little easier to deal with, it's totally out of my hands and easier to distract my attention. The close in noise is harder. My job isn't threatened today but it's not beyond the realm of possibility with this administration. The good news is my mortgage has gone down enough that if I were to lose my job I'd cash out some retirement and pay off all debts and just go get a job and forget all about my profession. It'll hose my retirement plans but who gives a shit anymore right?
